Practices
Our athletes have the chance to practice three times a week, but since many of them are involved in other extracurricular activities and prioritize their school work, they are not required to attend every practice.
Weekdays
Practices are split into two groups based on rider ability: Mon & Thu 5:45-7:45pm or Tue & Wed 5:45-7:45pm @ Sope Creek / Cochran Shoals Trail System
Weekends
Riders of all ability levels practice together at various greater Atlanta area and North Georgia trail systems. Sundays 2:00-5:00pm
2024 Races
Participating in races is optional. Students who race compete in the Georgia Cycling Association race series against more than 80 teams from across the state. All teams in Sope Creek Composite are part of the West Conference.

Race 2: “Chase at the Creek” Allatoona Creek Park - Acworth, GA

Race 3: “Duel at Dauset” Dauset Trails Nature Center - Jackson, GA
-Saturday, October 5: West Conference
-Sunday, October 6: East Conference
Race 4: “Clash in Cleveland” Yonah Preserve - Cleveland, GA
-Saturday, October 19: East Conference
-Sunday, October 20: West Conference
Championship Weekend: Kingston Downs - Rome, GA
-Saturday October 26: MTB Fest
-Sunday October 27: Peach State Championship
